Welcome
Welcome To Green Junior High

HOME OF THE HORNETS
Dear E.O. Green Junior High School Community,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at E.O. Green. As we begin this new year, I want to express my continued commitment to fostering a learning environment where students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow into confident and capable individuals.
E.O. Green is proud to be recognized as a Purple Star School, a designation that reflects our strong support for military-connected students and families. We understand the unique challenges that come with transitions and deployments, and we are committed to providing resources, care, and consistency for all students who walk through our doors.
We are also a California Community School, which means we take a whole-child approach to education. Through this model, we work to remove barriers to learning, strengthen family partnerships, and build a campus culture that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of our students. This year, we welcome Ms. Adilene Mendez as our Community Schools Coordinator. She will support our ongoing efforts to connect students and families with meaningful opportunities and resources.
At E.O. Green, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Our SHINE after-school program provides students with access to academic support, enrichment activities, and team-building experiences. Whether students are interested in mariachi, folklórico, drama, soccer, volleyball, or other clubs and programs, we want them to develop as well-rounded individuals who are engaged in their learning and connected to their school community.
Safety and well-being remain a top priority. Our school has procedures in place to maintain a secure learning environment, including regular safety drills and reporting systems like WeTip, which is available on our school website. Students are also encouraged to speak with any trusted adult, including their counselor, if they need help or support.
We use ParentSquare to communicate with families. If you have not already done so, please make sure you are connected to receive important updates, event reminders, and school information throughout the year.
